Leadership

Senior Pastor

Mike Monti

Over the past three decades, Pastor Mike Monti has been serving the local church in his calling as pastor. He graduated from Zion Bible College and began his career within the Assemblies of God (AG). After some time at AG, he was called to help further the vision of Living Faith Christian Church alongside Pastor Kieth Stuart. Monti has a servant leader’s heart and is known throughout Connecticut and many countries as a man you can rely on to lead you spiritually and count on in good times and difficult seasons.

Today, Monti is the senior pastor of Living Faith, ushering in a revitalized vision and overseeing the explosive growth of this local body. Prayer and worship is an essential part of Monti’s life. He can be found daily, like Daniel, praying for the people of Living Faith and for God to ultimately do what He wills for this community.

Associate Pastor

Brandon Monti

Pastor Brandon Monti is a Waterbury native who grew up with the people of Living Faith. At 22, Monti graduated from Johnson & Wales University having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and was already running his own company, Truepreenrus. During this time, he was a fixture within the Providence business community, forging relationships with movers and shakers and key-noting conferences such as Kaufmann Foudnation’s 1Million Cups and TEDxProvidence. His company taught entrepreneurship in alternative high schools and youth penitentiaries and developed partnerships with organizations like Unified Solutions led by Providence’s own Kobi Dennis and multi-million dollar companies like Chubby Chico Charms.  Beyond the private sector, Monti could be found serving his local church, Awakening Church as the college night’s drummer amongst other volunteer work.

Although Monti was heavily involved in Providence’s business scene, the Lord had other plans for his life. He met his now wife, Machol, while in Rhode Island and decided to close down his business and move back to his hometown. He quickly began serving his new church home, Vox, and joined the worship team as a drummer for many of their campuses. It was at this time that Brandon launched Post University’s first onsite entrepreneurship center within the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business and a new technology company Fresher Choice. It could be said that Brandon was destined to make entrepreneurship his Life’s mission.

However, much like the move from Providence to Waterbury, the Lord had other plans. During Monti’s time as the Director for the entrepreneurship Center, he had been focusing a large portion of his time studying scripture and Biblical history. God had begun to call him to full-time ministry. Truth be told, if you were to ask Monti, why now, he’d say because it should have been done a long time ago. Four years after joining Post’s business school, and more confirmation than Brandon has ever encountered, he decided to leave Post and become Living Faith’s full- time associate pastor under his dad. The Lord has been in all of his life’s decisions and we look forward to seeing what will come next.
